Ask any musician why they became involved in music and they'll answer with a smile. Lovers of music don't elect to get involved - they're compelled by a power that removes uncertainty from the quest for self expression. A force of nature: unconscious, subliminal, destiny. That's why musicians that make the music, engineers that reproduce the music and listeners that sense the music join hands on the same philosophical and emotional level. None of us question why we're here - there's no need. We live for it.

In close to forty years, Monitor Audio has been guided by the passion for musical expression in common with musicians and listeners alike. We've been drawn towards music makers, as a painter to their subject, in order to reproduce the sound of music making more accurately. Most recently we've provided speakers for monitoring and mix-down work to some of the most creative musicians and engineers in the industry so that we can express our love for music in the most profound and effective way possible.
