Engineered through Monitor Audio loudspeakers by top producer Dave Wooster (Leona Lewis & Gary Moore) at his Koolworld studio facility for the resolutely independent 33 records label, 'Long Time Coming' is the first CD release by the new soul/jazz phenomenon Zoe Galant and her band.

Galant's work lends a dynamic spontaneity to familiar jazz, funk and soul styles, interweaving the legacy of a century's music with a fresh innovative vitality. Accompanied by the experience of Rob Stratham (bass), Al Cherry (guitar), Marc Parnell (drums) and with special performances from John Etheridge on guitar, Galant performs with the fluid precision and dexterity of a master musician. Across twelve tracks and driven by the pulse of a perfectly drilled rhythm section, her captivating vocal and piano intonation follows the richly varied contours of our musical heritage without ever touching down. 'Long Time Coming' is an essential first release from the one of the UK's most individual and talented young soul/jazz singer/song writers.
