Formed by LUKE MORLEY, guitarist/songwriter for legendary UK rock band THUNDER and WINTERVILLE's W.C Handy Award-winning guitarist/vocalist PETER SHOULDER, THE UNION lives up to its name, blending hard rock with a blues edge to create a sound that injects the essence of an illustrious heritage with a taut contemporary dynamic.

THUNDER disbanded in July 2009 after two decades of sharing the stage with such rock glitterati as Deep Purple, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Van Halen, Whitesnake, ZZ Top, Metallica, and Bryan Adams - ending on a high note at an emotional sell-out show at Hammersmith Apollo. Meanwhile WINTERVILLE, an English blue-rock band in the finest tradition, caught the attention of Thin Lizzy's Scott Gorham, and supported the touring Lizzy on many occasions. Somewhere on the road they opened for THUNDER, and subsequently, during an eight year friendship, the two guitarists discovered the musical empathy that has provided the wellspring for the inevitable 'union'.

The Union's eponymous first album is a ground-breaking trinity of great writing, stylish bravura and recording technique. We're proud that our GS10 speakers played a major part in fine-tuning the sound.
